James graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in May 2024. Having taken an interest in a variety of topics and activities in law school, he was drawn to family law because of its human element, the fast-paced environment and the opportunities to learn and apply distinct but intersecting areas of the law.
James completed his undergraduate studies at Western University, graduating in 2018 with a degree in Business Management. Before attending law school, he worked at a small digital media company and for Rogers Sports and Entertainment division. At law school, James gained valuable practical experience working at the Law Student’s Legal Aid Program, providing legal advice to resolve conflicts experienced by people who may not otherwise have access to the justice system. James also served as a vice president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Outside of the office James enjoys spending time with his friends and family, golfing, and reading, preferably on a dock somewhere.
